Our Mission
The Mission Of The Biletnikoff Foundation Is To Commemorate Tracey’s Life And Her Untimely Death And To Enable Young People To Realize Their Full Potential Through The Support Of Community And Education Programs That Effectively Address The Related Problems Of Substance Abuse And Gender Violence.
The Biletnikoff Foundation
The Biletnikoff Foundation was created to commemorate Tracey Biletnikoff who was brutally murdered in 1999 at a very young age. Tracey, after recovering from drug and alcohol abuse through programs like those supported by the Biletnikoff Foundation, dedicated her life to helping “at risk” youth avoid or recover from similar experiences.
The foundation has focused the majority (approximately 80%) of resources, volunteers, etc. on supporting programs targeting “at risk” youths predominately from low- to moderate-income neighborhoods.
However, we believe that youths of all ages and backgrounds are susceptible to various addictions and violence. Therefore, our goal is to reach out to as many youths as possible so that we may help them avoid or recover from violence, drugs and alcohol, which are crippling the youth of this country.

About the Biletnikoff Foundation
The Biletnikoff Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth, primarily from low to moderate income neighborhoods or backgrounds, who are “at risk” particularly to the realities of drug and alcohol addiction as well as domestic and gender violence. We believe one of our most successful accomplishments was to establish Tracey’s Place of Hope in San Mateo County in 1999. In conjunction with community programs we support scheduled activities and group sessions on site and at the counseling center. The program is targeted to teens that are low-income, at risk of homelessness, with a history of substance abuse related problems as well as other mental health issues.
Our next important task will be the rebuilding of of a Tracey’s Place of Hope at Koinonia in Placer County. We believe one of our most successful accomplishments was to establish Tracey’s Place of Hope in San Mateo County in 1999.
In conjunction with community programs we support scheduled activities and group sessions on site and at the counseling center. The program is targeted to teens who are low-income, at risk of homelessness, with a history of substance-abuse related problems as well as other mental health issues.
